World-Famous Tribute Artists To Portray Legends Elvis, Celine Dion, Johnny Mathis, Blues Brothers™, and Alan Jackson.

October 24th , 2012 Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Legends in Concert® Myrtle Beach officials announced the holiday show lineup for the leading tribute artist show today.

The upcoming holiday season brings some new tribute artists, Johnny Mathis and the Blues Brothers™, to Myrtle Beach’s newest multi-million dollar venue. The holiday show will run from November 2nd through December 20th featuring tributes to Elvis, Celine Dion, Johnny Mathis, Blues Brothers™, and Alan Jackson.

Avelio Falana brings the velvety smooth sounds of Johnny Mathis to the Myrtle Beach stage for the first-time ever. This tribute to the man with the “Velvet Voice” will warm concert-goers’ hearts and bring back fond memories of years past. Travel to a time when Mathis ruled the adult contemporary charts with heart-warming ballads and filled the holiday airwaves with his signature Christmas classics.

Back by popular demand will be the unbelievable antics of the Blues Brothers™ who have also been added to this winter musical feast. Dan Meisner and Russ Peterson’s tribute to the Blues Brothers™ is set to ring in the holiday season with a laugh out loud, toe-tapping good time!

Legends In Concert is a sure-fire holiday favorite for all ages; raising spirits and brightening nights! The Las Vegas-based production will stir holiday memories with timeless classics of this magical season combined with the greatest hits from Johnny Mathis, Celine Dion, Alan Jackson, and Elvis accompanied by the hilarious, cheerful antics of the Blues Brothers™!

Legends will also mark the end of another fantastic season along the Grand Strand with their traditional New Year’s Eve Celebration at 10pm on December 31st. The New Year’s late show will feature party favors, a simulcast of the New York Times Square ball-drop, and much more. Champagne will be available for purchase to help ring in the New Year on this special evening.

The season will feature a rocking finish from December 26th to December 31st with a return to the well-known and loved Legends In Concert format featuring a collection of each artist’s best hits capped off with a New Year’s Celebration on December 31st.

The new 600-seat Legends in Concert theater at Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach was completed in mid-March 2011 after more than $2 million worth of renovations. It has a projected stage with seating surrounding on three sides; state-of-the-art production lighting; side stage monitors for close-up views from every seat; and programmable colored LED lighting accents in the lobby. It will also have nearly 50 V.I.P. table booths seats available.
