Born in Long Island, NY, Jazmine draws her musical inspiration from her Cuban heritage while speaking and singing in both English and Spanish. Living in Florida, Jazmine decided to put school on hold and pursue her music career. It was here that she met her current manager and husband, Jake Hyytia, from PANTHER Enterprises. With a diverse musical background and outstanding vocal talent, Jake and Jazmine decided to start her career on the European music scene.

Jazmine began her tour around Europe with immediate success including performances in hundreds of nightclubs, several European Summer Festivals and multiple radio and television appearances. She has also performed many times on different Cruise Lines and performed a self-titled Christmas show, on the M/S Silja Festival between Finland and Sweden.

After signing a one album deal with Finland's K-TEL Records, Jazmine's first single achieved international success. In January 1996, "Love Like Never Before" rose to #1 on the French dance chart, dropping Madonna to #2 and passing same week entries from Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi and Whitney Houston. 'Love Like No Other' remained at #1 for two weeks and on the charts for 21 weeks with a consistent spot in the Top 10. Jazmine's second single 'Woman In Love' received critical acclaim during its release in several European countries.

European success led to Jazmine's 1998 debut within the Latin-American community by singing in eight episodes of the popular Telemundo television show, "Sueños De Fama". She has also appeared on the WB Networks television show "Pop Stars" and on an episode of the Dick Clark Productions' show "Your Big Break."
