Justin Timberlake
Scott Jordan
- Foxwoods
Scott Jordan was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised a few miles south of the Inner Harbor in Glen Burnie. A performer since the age of 4, it wasn’t until his freshman year of high school that he began singing. He was able to fine tune his craft in over 20 productions before landing a guest role on NBC’s Emmy award winning show, Homicide.
It was shortly after that performance, that Scott made his way to the theater department at the University of Central Florida in Orlando quickly winning the coveted title of Mr. UCF as a freshman and landing performing jobs at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. It was around this time that he had his first encounter with a talented teenage singer named Justin Timberlake who would later on play a huge role in his chosen profession.
Scott parlayed his theme park performances into yet another guest spot, this time on the third season of MTV’s Making The Band. After the show wrapped, Scott was asked to join boy band kingpin Lou Pearlman’s newest group. The band, 21, left for a European tour shortly thereafter and Scott began traveling the world and living out his dreams one country at a time.
After the band disbanded Scott signed on to tour with the Chippendales show and he headed back to Europe. He was in the audience when Justin did his first solo performance at the MTV European Music Awards, and became so enamored with the crowd’s reaction that he decided to try out Justin’s hit Like I Love You, at the next Chippendales performance. It was a huge success.
The more he sang the songs the more he realized he could sound just like him. Week by week he would add more and more “JT” to the show and eventually the crowds began calling him Justin. By the time Scott’s 3 year run in Europe ended he had established his Justin Timberlake persona enough to garner the attention of what was at the time, one of the longest running shows in Las Vegas. It was called Splash, it was at the Riviera Hotel, and Scott Jordan was about to bring Justin Timberlake to the Las Vegas Strip.
After a brief run, Splash closed its curtain for the final time and now Scott has brought Justin Timberlake to the ultimate celebrity tribute show, Legends in Concert.
