Katie Murdock as Britney Spears

Katie grew up in Draper, Utah and has been singing since she was a child.  Her mother influenced Katie by playing piano, writing music and singing.  Her family recorded Katie along with her brothers and sisters in their basement studio, and sold the tapes in Utah retail outlets.  She graduated to singing for people all over Utah for weddings and parties, and of course caroling at Christmas time.

Katie’s professional career began when she met a producer who was putting together a Britney Spears show in New Hampshire.  Her friends in high school had told Katie she looked like Britney, so she auditioned for the show and got the part.  That was when Katie made up her mind to pursue this as a career and moved to Las Vegas.

She joined the Las Vegas “Legends in Concert” show in 2005 at the ripe young age of 22, and has gone on to perform as a “Legend” on the Ellen Degeneres show in November of 2006.  Katie is scheduled to perform in other “Legends in Concert” venues across the United States.
