Mark Hinds (Kenny Rogers) joined Legends in 1990 after nine years crafting his impersonation in various Moose, Elk & Eagles Lodges. His first break came at a ski resort in Gaylord, MI. Mark has performed The Gambler on stage with Kenny Rogers himself at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN while part of  The Charlie Chases’ Funny Business Show.  Mr. Hinds was part of an audience sting when the real Kenny Rogers went on stage as Mark Hinds at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, interviewed guests were unaware of the switch. Mr. Hinds served in the US Navy for eight years as a Lieutenant in the VFP 62nd Squadron on the US Constellation CVA 64 out of Cecil Field, FL. In 1960, while serving with A.E.W.R.O.N. 13 out of Patuxant River, MD Lieutenant Hinds flew 12 hour flight sub-hunting patrols from Newfoundland to the Azores, Spain. Mr. Hinds has performed in Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Japan and every Canadian Province as well as all over the United States.
