Matt Lewis brings the charm and humility of a young "Elvis" to every Legends In Concert performance. From his first open-collared entrance, he exudes the electric excitement one would expect from the real Legend. Audience members fortunate enough to recall the young Elvis appreciate the roguish humor Matt brings to his personal tribute to the "King."

This young Missouri lad shares more than just a look with his hero. Like Elvis, he gained his first performance experience soloing in the church choir. Spawned from a musical family (Dad was with the St. Louis mini opera and Mom plays piano) Matt majored in education in college and chose theater as his minor. After studying classical voice and guitar, he later made the move to Rhythm & Blues and decided to stick with rhythm guitar.

A natural impersonator, Matt received encouragement from his father to refine his Elvis impression and eventually won a trip to Memphis when he was awarded the distinction of being the "Best Elvis in Kansas City." While Elvis is his favorite, he still enjoys working on routines from his favorite movie, "The Blues Brothers."

Matt began to take his Elvis impersonation seriously after seeing Legends In Concert when he was sixteen. He credits his own Elvis-like traits of confidence and persistence as the key to his performance and success as a tribute artist.
