‘LEGENDS IN CONCERT’ TO OPEN THE NEW LUMIÈRE THEATRE
Award-Winning International Stage Spectacular Highlights new venue line-up
LAS VEGAS, NV – “Legends in Concert,” the longest running independently owned production show on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, has announced its show schedule for the upcoming limited engagement at the new Lumière Theatre. Celebrating its 25th year, “Legends” is the original and largest live celebrity tribute spectacular in the world, and will arrive direct from Las Vegas to commence its five weeks of performances at the Missouri casino resort on September 10, 2008. The theater is located in the new Lumière Place casino & entertainment complex, adjacent to the city’s famed Gateway Arch, in downtown St. Louis. “Legends” will begin its run in conjunction with the grand opening of Lumière’s new entertainment venue.
"We are thrilled to bring Legends to this magnificent property, and to be the first show to take residence in the new theatre is exciting for our organization,” said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer for "Legends" producer On Stage Entertainment. "We have five of the highest quality tribute acts in the world performing at this engagement, and they will be joined by the always electrifying Legends singers and dancers, and a talented live band.”
“Legends” will perform its spectacular show at Lumière Place casino: Wednesday, September 10 – Sunday, October 5, and will feature Tina Turner, Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley. Performances will take place in the new Lumière Theatre Tuesday through Sunday at 7:00 pm, with matinees Saturday at 2:00 pm. Admission is $10 per person in advance and $15 per person the day of the show. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. The Ticketmaster outlet at Lumière Place is located inside the ETC, and is also a retailer for Lumière Theater show tickets.
