“Legends in Concert” to host Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest preliminary at Resorts Casino Hotel, June 5 & 6

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – May XX, 2009 – The celebrated tribute artist production "Legends in Concert,” Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE) and Resorts Casino Hotel announced today that Atlantic City’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest preliminary contest will be held at Resorts, June 5 and 6, 2009, in the Superstar Theater. This is the second consecutive year that Resorts has hosted this prestigious event.

On Stage Touring, a subsidiary of On Stage Entertainment and creators of the world's longest-running celebrity tribute show, has been officially licensed by EPE to produce preliminary contests at “Legends in Concert” locations, including Atlantic City, N.J.

Contestants in Atlantic City’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will be judged on the “best representation of the Elvis legacy” in talent, appearance, performance, stage presence, and overall tribute. The winner of the contest qualifies to compete in The 2009 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest finals presented by EPE in Memphis during Elvis Week, August 8-16.  In addition, the winner of Atlantic City’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist preliminary contest will take home a $1,000 cash prize and a Resorts getaway prize package.

Legends has also agreed to furnish one of the Grand Prizes for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest winner, which will take place in Memphis, Tennessee on August 12 and 13. The winner of the contest will be offered the opportunity to sign a 12-week performance contract with Legends in Concert, a cash prize of $20,000, recognition by EPE, the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist of 2009, and selection of other valuable prizes.

Launched in August of 2007, the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis is one of the highlights of Elvis Week activities, which last year attracted more than 70,000 fans from all over the world.
