LEGENDS IN CONCERT® MYRTLE BEACH ANNOUNCES FALL 2012 LINEUP
Leading Tribute Artists To Portray Legends Elvis, Celine Dion, Bobby Darin, Little Richard, and Alan Jackson.
August 28th, 2012, Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Legends in Concert® Myrtle Beach officials announced the fall lineup for the leading tribute artist show today.
The new set of tribute artists—who will perform from Sept. 4th through Oct. 30th —will portray Elvis, Celine Dion, Bobby Darin, Little Richard, and Alan Jackson.
Leo Days, will return to Legends in Concert Myrtle Beach to portray Elvis Presley directly from a summer-long engagement in Legends’ newest venue in Waikiki, Hawaii. Days is considered by many to be one of the top Elvis tributes and he will be appearing in the upcoming Elvis Lives! National Tour that is produced by both On Stage Enterprises, producer of Legends In Concert, and Elvis Presley Enterprises. From September 29th through October 6th, Jay Dupuis will fill Leo’s blue suede shoes. Jay recently finished as a Top 10 Finalist in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Finals in Memphis.
Brigitte Valdez and her angelic vocals will grace the Legends In Concert stage this fall bringing her tribute to Celine Dion. Brigitte’s elegant yet energetic tribute is sure to please crowds nightly with hit after hit from Celine’s vault of chart-topping singles. Bobby Darin tribute, Art Vargas, is set to join Celine Dion this fall in a long-anticipated return to the Grand Strand. Vargas’ impeccable portrayal of Darin will have fans clamoring for more nightly with crowd pleasing hits including “ Somewhere Beyond The Sea” and “Mack The Knife”
Legends will round out their new fall line-up with the return of Little Richard and Alan Jackson tributes to the new state-of-the-art theater. Garry Moore’s uproarious and electric tribute to Little Richard is guaranteed to rock and roll your evening. Local resident, Doug Brewin, re-joins the Myrtle Beach cast this fall with his tribute to country great, Alan Jackson. Brewin’s set list has been re-infused with some new songs while keeping Jackson’s biggest hits.

The new 600-seat Legends in Concert theater at Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach was completed in mid-March 2011 after more than $2 million worth of renovations. It has a projected stage with seating surrounding on three sides; state-of-the-art production lighting; side stage monitors for close-up views from every seat; and programmable colored LED lighting accents in the lobby. It will also have nearly 50 V.I.P. table booths seats available.
