Comes to Sam’s Town Shreveport April 29-May 2

Military Personnel Invited to Free Show April 29

SHREVEPORT, La.  – April 20, 2010 – The original and largest live celebrity spectacular in the world, Legends in Concert, is coming to Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino April 29-May 2.

And in recognition of the service of members of the Armed Forces, both active-duty and retired military personnel are invited to attend a free performance of Legends in Concert on Thursday, April 29, starting at 8 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to invite members of the military to a complimentary performance of this exciting show,” said Kim Etland, vice president and general manager of Sam’s Town Shreveport.  “This event is our way of showing our thanks for their service to our country.”

The live tribute show, now celebrating its 26th anniversary as the longest-running family-friendly production show in the history of Las Vegas, features universally-renowned performers who transform, in every detail, into the celebrity superstars they portray.  This year’s show features Damian Brantley as Michael Jackson; Chad Givens as Tim McGraw; Annika Nielsen as Faith Hill; and Coty Alexander as Madonna.

“Our pledge to offering the highest quality live entertainment and production values – at affordable prices – along with a continually rotating talent lineup is what draws audiences to Legends, and keeps them coming back,” said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer for Legends in Concert producer On Stage Entertainment.  “The Sam’s Town performances will feature accomplished dancers, a live orchestra and four of the top tribute artists in the business, direct from Las Vegas.”
