CELEBRITY TRIBUTE SPECTACULAR “LEGENDS IN CONCERT” MOVES TO HARRAH’S LAS VEGAS
Entertainment Becomes Legendary Beginning December 15, 2008
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Harrah’s Las Vegas is proud to announce that “Legends in Concert,” the longest running celebrity tribute show in the world, will commence nightly performances in the Harrah’s showroom beginning Dec. 15, 2008. Pursuant to a new multi-year and multi-dimensional partnership, the award-winning ‘Legends’ production show will share the Harrah’s showroom with renowned comedian Rita Rudner.
Featuring live re-creations of superstars of yesterday and today and backed by a live orchestra and dancers, “Legends in Concert” is a true entertainment spectacle for all ages. For the past 25 years, the successful production has called the Harrah’s Entertainment-owned Imperial Palace its Las Vegas home, where scheduled performances will continue through Dec. 13.
“’Legends in Concert’ has stayed hip for 25 years by continually showcasing music from the biggest superstars of the time,” said Don Marrandino, president of Harrah’s Las Vegas. “Vegas icons like Elvis Presley and Tom Jones are joined onstage by some of the hottest artists of today like Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani to create one of the most entertaining shows on the Strip. We are thrilled to have Legends advance within the Harrah’s family.”

From Dec. 15-30, for only the second time in its 25-year run, “Legends in Concert” will turn its stage into a holiday celebration, with specially-produced musical arrangements, sparkling costumes and a unique multimedia presentation. Audiences can also expect that special guests will drop in to join the most celebrated tribute acts in show business representing the likes of Elvis Presley, Donna Summer, Madonna, Ann Margaret, Justin Timberlake and Jay Leno. ‘Legends’ will combine holiday classics with a selection of the original artists’ most popular hits. The show’s finale will be an over-the-top celebration of the most joyful time of the year.
Tickets for “Legends in Concert” are on sale now at the Imperial Palace and Harrah’s Las Vegas box offices. VIP tickets are $59.95 for adults and $44.95 for children and general tickets are $49.95 for adults and $34.95 for children.
