HARRAH’S LAS VEGAS WELCOMES CELEBRITY TRIBUTE

SPECTACULAR “LEGENDS IN CONCERT”

Enhanced set, costumes, choreography and line up unveiled tonight at Harrah’s Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. – The world’s longest-running celebrity tribute show “Legends in Concert,” arrives in its new home at Harrah’s Las Vegas today. Concluding a historic 25 year run at neighboring casino, Imperial Palace, “Legends in Concert” unveils a newly revamped, better-than-ever production at Harrah’s Entertainment’s namesake property. “Legends in Concert” will perform year-round six nights per week, sharing the Harrah’s Showroom with long-time Las Vegas comedienne Rita Rudner.

Hailed as a “Las Vegas Strip institution” by the Press of Atlantic City and the “Show of shows” by the International Press Association, the Harrah’s production of the show promises to deliver the world’s best celebrity tribute artists and magnificent entertainment value that has dazzled audiences for a quarter century.

We are confident Legends will bring new guests and fresh energy to our casino.”

Presented by On Stage Entertainment Inc., the production boasts a cast of ten talented dancers and a five-piece live orchestra. Under the direction of choreographer Toni Lee, each number includes intricate choreography unique to the era of each individual performer.  “Legends in Concert” also unveils a newly-designed multi-level performance space, immersive multi-media graphics and an enhanced lighting package, augmenting the overall production value of the show.

The 2009 opening superstar lineup is comprised of Jay Leno, Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, The Temptations and Elvis Presley. As it has traditionally done, “Legends in Concert” will continue to rotate its talent line-up throughout the year, a formula that has proven successful in keeping the show fresh and encouraging audience members to come back on their next visit to Las Vegas.
