Award-Winning “Legends in Concert” Returns to Foxwoods for Unprecedented Sixth Season

Tribute Show Features Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, Blues Brothers, Shania Twain, Ray Charles, Elvis and More

Due to incredible demand, “Legends in Concert,” the pioneer of live tribute shows, returns to Foxwoods ® Resort Casino for its sixth consecutive seasonal appearance. The show opens on June 30, with seven performances scheduled weekly through Labor Day weekend (September 2).

More than a quarter of a million fans have flocked to Foxwoods to enjoy the show; repeatedly shattering Foxwoods’ all-time attendance record for a single live entertainment attraction. Now the award-winning Las Vegas-based production spectacular will present another heated summer engagement including customized musical arrangements and chic costumes. This season’s show will feature its hottest all-star line-up yet, including many new live tribute performers for the Foxwoods’ audience including Lady Gaga, The Blues Brothers and Shania Twain, as well as returning fan favorites such as Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Elvis and Celine Dion. Tickets are $30 and will go on sale Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. New this year, reserved VIP tickets for the first few rows of the theater will be available for $40.

The “Legends” summer 2012 production will feature shows every Monday through Thursday and Saturday at 8 p.m., every Sunday at 7:30 p.m., and matinee performances each Wednesday at 1 p.m. Some blackout days apply. Please visit for a complete schedule.

July’s line-up includes tributes to Elvis Presley, pop superstar Celine Dion, the dancing diva Janet Jackson, The Blues Brothers and rock and soul legend Ray Charles. Returning to the legendary Fox Theater for his second year is 22 year old Tyler Hunter, who portrays the young, rockabilly era’ Elvis, dance moves and all. Charles Middleton shares the name and the soulful swing of legend Ray Charles, performing the piano man’s famed tunes such as “I Can’t Stop Loving You”, “Hit the Road Jack” and many more.

In August, don’t miss a second round of the famed live tribute artists including another of the many eras of Elvis, soul singer Stevie Wonder, best-selling balladeer Whitney Houston, pop sensation Lady Gaga and country crooner Shania Twain.

“Legends in Concert” began in 1983 with a limited six-week engagement in Las Vegas, and now celebrates 29 years of success. The show has earned multiple awards, including the prestigious “Show of Shows” from the International Press Association.
