Biography

Kristi began her professional theatrical career at the age of 7 playing the role of Molly in the 1st National Touring Co. of Annie. She was later elevated to the title role of Annie in the 2nd National, being the youngest ever to capture the role. After touring the country for four years, Kristi made her Broadway debut at the age of 11 playing Young Norma Jean in Marilyn, An American Fable. While Miss Coombs didn’t realize she would ever portray Marilyn Monroe again, she in fact fell into it when a producer asked if she could play Marilyn in a show. She later added Madonna to her repertoire. And was thrilled when asked to perform for Legends In Concert. Upon receiving her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University, Kristi continued a full time career in the business. She is honored to have worked for The Department of Defense performing for troops overseas and was a proud performer and choreographer for The USO of Metropolitan New York. Kristi is also a familiar NYC entertainer whom you may have seen performing at popular venues such as The Rainbow Room, The Supper Club, HA Comedy Club, The Edison Ballroom and BB Kings. When Kristi is not performing she enjoys working behind the scenes as dance director for Broadway Artists Alliance, a NYC musical theatre intensive program for students ages 9-21. Other credits include Kicks, Ready Or Not, The Little Prince, A Christmas Carol, Party With The Rat Pack, Sex And The City, Lois on Guiding Light and the documentary film Life After Tomorrow.
