SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Legends in Concert in Surfside Beach rolled out the red carpet Sunday afternoon for some of their biggest fans during a special matinee.
Legend’s offered discounted tickets and concessions as a part of their efforts in the Reject the Recession campaign, a program encouraging local businesses to give back to the community.
Operations Manager Jason Aiesi believes everyone could use a break during tough times.
“We decided to make some blockbuster deals for people so they could find a kind of silver lining in this cloud that we’re going through,” he said. “I think it gives people a wonderful escape for a two hour time period.”
The two-hour show features look-a-like personalities that mirror the singing and dancing of some of music’s greatest legends. Aiesi is hoping through providing entertainment at a reasonable price more people will come back.
“This will provide an incentive for folks to come on up and just get some relief and enjoy our music,” said Aiesi.
