Frank Sinatra

Performed by Brian Duprey

As a child in Providence, Rhode Island, Brian listened and sang to the likes Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Showing a true appreciation for all musical styles, Brian turned a swing set in his parent's back yard into his first singing venue. With a passion for music at a young age, Brian would sing in the yard many Saturday mornings to which he lightheartedly comments, "To my neighbors who tried to sleep in, I apologize."

From his backyard concert to singing in high school variety shows to stand-up comedy routines, Brian discovered jazz and swing music while attending Fairfield University. As part of the University Jazz Ensemble, Brian performed standards from the American Songbook accompanied by Grammy award- winning jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker and "America's Most Recorded Drummer," Bernard Purdie. These musical influences have stuck with him and helped in the development of his artistic ability.

Performing as the legendary Frank Sinatra, Brian knows he has a responsibility to the legacy and tradition that made the singer and American icon. For this he draws on the musical background to harness the energy needed to walk in those footsteps. With his amazing stage presence and wonderful likeness to original, Brian masterfully recreates the days of an era gone by.

While mastering his craft, Brian has performed at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Las Vegas and for non-profit organizations and corporations, including a special engagement for the staff at Dr. Pepper. Brian has also been featured on television shows such as Dick Clark Productions "Your Big Break" and while part of the cast of Legends In Concert he appeared on "The Dennis Bono Show" and "Entertainment Las Vegas Style."

Never satisfied with his current success, Brian continues to develop his musical talent and explains, "There's so much to learn, and I realize my success if anything brings more challenges." It is clear that Brian is setting his own standard, but there is no denying his natural ability as an artist and truly gifted entertainer.
